J.W. Wiedefeld

BENTON -- J.W. Wiedefeld, 57, died Jan. 26, 2007, at his home.

Born Sep. 29, 1949, in Cape Girardeau, son of the late Elmer Charles "Johnny" and Anna Marie Scheffer Wiedefeld, he was a laborer with Operating Engineers Local 513. A U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Benton.

In addition to his parents, one brother preceded him in death.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Denis Catholic Church Cemetery in Benton. The Rev. Normand Varone will officiate.
