SIKESTON - Local businesses are invited to market their companies to area women as they spend the day learning ways to better health for themselves and their families during this year's free Multi-County Women's Conference Oct. 19.
The conference will be from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 19 at the First United Methodist Church, 1307 N Main.
Local businesses can set up a display to demonstrate their services and hand out promotional materials, advertise in the program book or donate time, goods or funds to help support the event. Donations of food and beverages for the luncheon and breaks, ice, door prizes, printing of brochures, flyers, and program books, postage, etc. are greatly appreciated, organizers said.
"This is an excellent opportunity for area businesses to set up a display to demonstrate their services. It's also a wonderful opportunity to give the ladies who work with you a day to better themselves," said Helen Sander.
Those companies which would like to participate can contact Sander at the Visiting Nurse Association of Southeast Missouri, PO Box 1608, 1218 Linn Street in Sikeston or by phone at 573-471-0520 Ext. 1606; 1-800-286-5892 Ext 1606 or Fax: 573-472-2544.
