Sikeston dentist affiliates practice with local office

SIKESTON - Dr. William Chouinard has affiliated his dental practice with Dr. Steve Nast. The office of Chouinard and Nast is located at 801 N. Main St.

A native of Sikeston, Chouinard is a 2005 graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City Dental School.

His general dentistry practice will enable him to treat general dental needs such as cleaning and fillings. Also it allows him to treat more specific needs such as teeth extractions, root canal therapy, crown and bridge work as well as partial and full dentures.

Also Chouinard is an Invisalign certified provider. Invisalign is an option for patients to have their teeth straightened without wearing bands, brackets or wires, he explained.

"I am most excited about being able to offer this to patients as a viable and highly successful alternative to braces," Chouinard said. He added he believes so strongly about the success of Invisalign, he is offering free consultations.

Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; and 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday. A sliding fee scale is available for those who qualify by bringing in two current pay stubs.
