DEXTER -- Mary Fears, 71, died April 17, 2007, at Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter.

Born Sept. 28, 1935, in Bloomfield, daughter of the late George Edward and Louise Lula Williamson Neal, she was a former farmer in the Bernie area for many years until 1985 when she moved to Branson, where she and her husband owned and operated several businesses.

On Jan. 26, 1952, in Paragould, Ark., she married John Fred Fears, who preceded her in death on May 18, 1999.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one grandson.

Survivors include: two sons, Dennis Keith Fears and Michael Ray Fears of Branson; three daughters, Kimberly Diane Rendleman of Springfield and Cynthia Leigh Bowman and Joni Lynn Burleson, both of Dexter; two sisters, Georgie Evans of Dexter and Myrtle Condict of Essex; and nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday in the Bernie Cemetery.
