MATTHEWS - Billy Jack Plunk, 69, died at 11:25 p.m. April 15, 2007, at Barnes-
Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Born Sept. 29, 1937, in Crump, Tenn., to the late Virgil Dean and Bertie Estella Duren Plunk, he was a self-employed farmer, a member of Potter's House Ministries and Sikeston Eagles Aerie 3319.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Diane Plunk of Savannah, Ga.; one daughter, Joane R. "Shelly" Plunk of Austin, Texas; two brothers, Kenny Plunk of Blodgett and Donald Plunk of Sikeston; five sisters, Iris Gay Billman of Benton, Opal Crossno of Collinsville, Ill., Martha Kraft of Freeburg, Ill., Dora Jane Detterman of Cleveland and Peggy Holman of Sikeston; and two grandsons, Jacob William Plunk and Stephen Moore Plunk.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. John Givens of Potter's House Ministries in Sikeston will officiate.
Burial will follow in Matthews Cemetery.
