Speakout 5/3

Before you take out a Medicare supplement insurance, check with your medical provider to make sure it is legitimate or that they take that kind of insurance. It is canceling people's Medicare and Medicaid out. You won't find out about this until you have been to the hospital or the doctor.

I'd like to call in response to Security check not secure. That can't be a Social Security check, it must be a disability check. If the person knows that the check goes in on Friday and the bank doesn't credit it until Monday and it keeps causing them to bounce checks, it has to be a disability or they would have learned by now.

This is in regards to the people who keep calling in about the sales tax being defeated in Sikeston. First of all Wal-Mart is in New Madrid County, not Scott County. So any money spent there would not go to Scott County to help out with the taxes. Another thing, Sikeston and Miner were not the only towns that defeated that. I believe it only passed by nine votes in Benton. Benton is the county seat. If only nine more of them wanted the sales tax than the rest, that should say something right there. Perkins, McMullin, I believe Blodgett, several other towns voted against it. Get over it! The people have spoken. That's what the people wanted, wasn't just the people in Sikeston, it was a lot of people in Scott County. Thank you. And quit hiding behind SpeakOut, put your name in the paper.

I would like to thank the gentleman and the lady that helped me on the 26th with the little terrier mix on North Main. I'd like to thank them for all the help they gave me to help me catch my dog. I appreciate you folks. There are people out there that still love dogs. Many thanks.

I am a very lonely mother. I wonder why is it you raise kids by yourself for 15 years, mom and daddy both, and your kids don't have no use for you. They won't bring your grandkids and your great-grandkids around. If there is a man 60 or over that would be interested in talking with me, leave your number in the SpeakOut. I would love to talk to you. I am a very lonely person. My daughter will not bring my grandkids around. I don't feel like a mother or a grandmother. I hope my daughter will wake up and know that I love her and my grandkids and my great-grandkids. I hope she can read this in SpeakOut.
