NEW MADRID -- Eveline Taylor, 81, died April 13, 2007, at her home.
Born Oct. 12, 1925, in Marston, the daughter of the late James and Nellie Croach Shephard, she was a member of the New Madrid Presbyterian Church where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years.
Survivors include: three daughters, Mary Newton of New Madrid, Betty Stafford of Hornbeak, Tenn., and Nellie Johnson of Kewanee; one sister, Melba Moore of Mesa, Calif.; and two grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters and one grandson, Joseph Wayne Stafford.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. today at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday with Thad Grimstead officiating.
Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
