I would like to say thank you to the wonderful people in the ER that took care of my daughter, Jessica at Mo Delta, especially to Dr. Angelos and nurse Linda. Also a special thank you to Dr. Rankin for the surgery. Your kindness and generosity was much appreciated. God bless you.

Where to draw the line between justice and injustice. I love my country but do not agree with certain penalties imposed on some citizens by the lawmakers in Washington. I was born in 1922, which means that I am a "notch victim." I am not in this alone. The lawmakers of my country have imposed a penalty on citizens born between 1917-1926 in the form of reduced Social Security benefits. The only logical reason for this penalty was that those citizens were the age group that served during World War II for a salary of $1 per day, $30 per month. Because we were in the military at that time, we could not even pay into the Social Security system to increase our later benefits. This penalty amounts to approximately 20 percent of my Social Security, for both myself and my late wife. This penalty now represents a tremendous amount of money after 22 years of retirement. The lawmakers can use this savings to rob the Social Security fund to finance a useless Iraqi war, plus all the other wasteful spending. You be the judge, is this justice or injustice?

Hello. I would just like to take a moment to thank whoever turned my purse in, I left it at Wal-Mart in a shopping cart outside. Someone turned it in and I am so glad that there are still honest people in our world. Again, thanks to whoever turned my purse in. I certainly appreciate it.

I'm calling referring to these banks. They charge service charges, overdraft charges. Why don't they realize people cannot get to the bank before four o'clock on Friday? Years ago before we had all this modern technology, all these computers, people could go to the bank at four o'clock and the money would still go in that day. Now days with all these modern technology machines, people have to be there at two o'clock for the money to get in, otherwise they have overdraft charges because the money don't get in. And once a month they have service charges because they don't keep $500 in the bank. How can you do that when you don't make $20 an hour? These days banks make $20-$50 an hour and us people make minimum wage. Banks, wake up and smell the roses.
