BLOOMFIELD -- Sarah Betty Perryman Cox, 89, died Feb. 16, 2008, in the emergency room at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.
Born Dec. 23, 1918, at Greene County, Ark., to the late Isaac Peter and Barbara Jane Trippt Perryman, she was a homemaker and a member of New Bethel General Baptist Church.
On July 6, 1934, at Corning, Ark., she married William Riley Cox, who preceded her in death on Nov. 10, 1993.
One son, Billy Cox, preceded her in death on Dec. 23, 1989. Several siblings also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one son, Howard Cox of Little Rock, Ark.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Verna and LeRoy Romine of Mesquite, Texas and Geraldine Cox of Blakely, Ga.; one sister, Dorothy L. Spears of Dexter, and 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from noon until time of services at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Rainey-
Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, with the Rev. Clifford Wray officiating.
Burial will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
