PORTAGEVILLE -- Mr. and Mrs. Steve St. Mary Jr. have announced the engagement of their daughter, Bethany Jane, to Barry L. Richardson III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Barry L. Richardson Jr. of Portageville.
A 2003 graduate of Portageville High School, the future bride will graduate in May 2007 from Southeast Missouri State University with a degree in elementary education. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hayes and Mr. and Mrs. Steve St. Mary Sr.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Portageville High School and a 2004 graduate of Mississippi State University, where he earned a degree in agricultural science. He is now farming. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Barry L. Richardson Sr., Mr. Nelson Curtis and the late Alma Jean Curtis.
The couple will exchange marriage vows before family and friends Jan. 6, 2007, at First Baptist Church in Portageville.
