Casey Gates

NEW MADRID -- Casey Gates, 83, died Feb. 3, 2007, at the Golden Living Center.

Born Jan. 7, 1924, in Mississippi, son of the late George Pink and Ollie Mae Gates, he lived most of his life in New Madrid.

He was also preceded in death by three sons in addition to his parents.

Survivors include: his wife, Obie Gates of New Madrid; and four sons, five daughters, 19 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid.

Burial will follow at Matthews City Cemetery.
