MORLEY - Glen E. Parks, 68, died Oct. 13, 2006, at his home.
Born Dec. 17, 1937, in Sikeston, to the late Henry and Gladys Tina Williams Parks, he was previously employed as a truck driver for Malone and Hyde/
Fleming Foods of Sikeston. After retiring, he worked for Wheeler's of Morley. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving as staff sergeant.
On April 5, 1964, in Sikeston, he married Patsie Farris, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, Glen Parks Jr. of Sikeston and Jeffrey Parks of Morley; one sister, Deloma Pace of Scott City; and two grandchildren, Dustin C. Parks and Lindsey F. Parks.
Five brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Delbert Bishop, pastor of Bement Baptist Church, officiated.
Burial followed in New Morley Cemetery in Morley.
Pallbearers were James Haynes, Sonny Mosier, Travis Bentsen, Earl Cheek and Jim O'Neal.
Honorary pallbearers were Don Watkins and Don Watkins Jr.
