Harry L. Gremore
SIKESTON - Harry L. Gremore, 83, died Sept. 17, 2006, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
Born Nov. 19, 1922, in Lilbourn, son of the late W.H. and Bessie Taylor Gremore, he was the owner and manger of Gremore Lime and Fertilizer Co. in Catron for many years and was a long-time member of the First Christian Church of Sikeston.
On Feb. 26, 1941, in Blytheville, Ark., he married Zelma Inman who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Harry Wayne and Cathy Gremore of New Madrid; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Gene Mayfield of Sikeston and Joyce and Tommy Lawfield of Catron; one brother, Jack Gremore of Van Buren; one sister, Margie Lantrip of Memphis, Tenn.; four grandsons, two granddaughters and six great-grandchildren; and a special nephew and nieces, Robert Gremore of Portageville, Shirley Simmons of Rector, Ark., and Joan Campbell of Sikeston.
He was preceded in death by a twin brother, Harold Gremore; and one sister, Pauline Dalton.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First Christian Church with pastors Mary McCord and Ed Pangburn officiating.
Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Matthew Gremore, Jeff Hardin, Trey Lawfield, Jarrett Lawfield, Robert Gremore and David Dalton.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Charles Carroll, Tom Womack, Loyd Froman, Flaire Ferrell, Ralph Boyer, Jerry Cooper, Mark Marshall and Thurman Willis.
