SIKESTON - Adverse weather conditions have hampered collection of Scott and New Madrid county crops. If the weather continues inclement, some of the crops may never make it from the field.

SIKESTON - The best way to kick the cigarette habit is "cold turkey," a doctor and former instructor in a program designed to help people quit smoking cigarettes says. Dr. Robert Ahlvin, chief pathologist at Missouri Delta Medical Center, has taught several self-help stop smoking clinics in conjunction with the American Cancer Society.
SIKESTON - This year Sikeston landed the honor of being the first school ever to win first place in the Missouri State Cheerleading Competition for the high school and the junior high school divisions at the same time.
