SIKESTON -- Tom and Athena Zorbas have announced the engagement of their daughter, Angela Zorbas, to Jim Angeletopoulos, son of George and Mina Angeletopoulos of Princeton, N.J.
A 1996 graduate of Sikeston High School, the future bride earned a Bachelor of Science in English from Truman State University in 2000, a Master of Arts in elementary education in 2003 and a Master of Education in educational administration and supervision from Loyola University Chicago in 2006. She is employed as fourth grade teacher at Everett Elementary in Lake Forest, Ill. Next year she will work as a fourth grade teacher at Lee Hunter Elementary in Sikeston.
The prospective bridegroom is a 1993 graduate of Princeton High School. He received a Bachelor of Science in environmental science from Lehigh University in 1999 and a Post Baccalaureate Diploma in information technology from DeVry College of Technology in 2002. He is employed by Grecian Steak House.
Plans are under way for a July 21 wedding in Katafygion, Greece.
