Katherine Millham
JACKSON - Katherine Margaret Millham, 91, died Feb. 18, 2007 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born June 13, 1915, in Skamokawa, Wash., daughter of the late John Daniel and Katherine Kinsfather Patterson, she was a preschool teacher and worked for J.C. Penney and in the insurance industry. She assisted her husband with his ministry at United Methodist churches in Dogwood, Parma, Cabool, House Springs, Kennett and Elsberry. In 1984, she moved to Jackson where she was a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church, the Dorcas Circle and Roberts Homemakers Club.
On Feb. 10, 1934, she married the Rev. Wilmot J. Millham who preceded her in death on June 10, 1982.
Also preceded her in death were one son, Wilmot Johnson Millham Jr.; one daughter, Margot Annabelle Warren; and a granddaughter and nine siblings.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law Katherine Esther and Sam Caponio of Concord, Calif.; two sons and daughters-in-law Warren David and Judy Millham of St. Charles and Craig Jay and Carla Millham of Jackson; one daughter-in-law, Barbara Millham of Kansas City, Kan.; and 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson and from 9 a.m. until time of services at 10 a.m. Friday at New McKendree United Methodist Church. The Rev. John Rice will officiate.
Burial will follow at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
