ORAN -- Pearl L. Roberts, 83, died Feb. 20, 2007, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

Born Dec. 31, 1923, at Malden, to the late Arvil C. and Mary Ellen Gage Weaver, she worked for 16 years at the International Hat Co. in Oran. She was a member of the Oran Trinity United Methodist Church where she was a member of the choir, Sunshine Club and the United Methodist Women and served as treasurer for many years.

On June 12, 1940, at Jaye, she married Louis W. Roberts who survives.

Other survivors include: three sons and two daughters-in-law, Louise E. and Patricia Jane Roberts of Riverside, Calif., Ronnie G. and Paula Roberts of Farmington and Garry W. Roberts of Brooksville, Fla.; four daughters and two sons-in-law, E. Eugenia "Jeannie" Boxdorfer of Jackson, Sharon R. Horvath of Oceanside, Calif., Shirley J. and Robert Turner of Marble Hill and Donna S. and Charles Glueck of Oak Ridge; and three half-brothers, one half-sister, 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Barbara Louise; five brothers, Marion Weaver, Mann Weaver, Albert Weaver, Leonard Graves and Johnny Graves; and two half-brothers.

Visitation is at 4 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Oran Trinity United Methodist Church. The Rev. Don Gandt will officiate.

Burial will follow in Friend Cemetery in Oran.
