NEW MADRID -- Alberta Ramsey, 81, died Dec. 15, 2006, at the Golden Living Center in New Madrid.
Born Feb. 18, 1925, in New Madrid, daughter of the late Albert Otis and Maude O'Bannon Allen, she was a member of the DAR and a lifetime member and choir member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
She married Willis "Cowboy" Ramsey who preceded her in death in 1991.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters.
Survivors include: one son, William E. Ramsey of New Madrid; two daughters, Mary Lynn Riley and Charlotte Ann Jones of Kewanee; and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m., at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid where a funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Randy Tochtrop will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
