Wilena Tompkins

DEXTER - Wilena Tompkins, 62, died Sept. 21, 2006, at the Mineral Area Hospital in Farmington.

Born April 21, 1944, in Dexter, to the late William Cletus and Julia "Ma" Menley Denkins, she lived most of her life in Dexter and was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Pam Heaton of Wappapello and Jason and Patty Jines of Dexter; two daughters and sons-in-

law, Jamie and David Jenkins of Poplar Bluff and Wren and Brian Wilkerson of Puxico; three brothers, Bill Denkins of Puxico, Ted Denkins of Dexter and David Denkins of Bloomfield; one sister, Betty Acton of Dexter; and 10 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Jeters.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter.
