CARUTHERSVILLE - Three Dunklin County men are expected to appear in court today on charges of felony stealing.

Charged are David Holified, 22, Mike Summers, 29 and Darryl Kuehl, 41, all of Campbell.

While investigating the theft of quick hitches from farm implements that have been left in the fields, Pemiscot County deputies along with Dunklin County deputies, were following up on leads in the Peach Orchard area when they observed a van sitting in the middle of a field that appeared to be loaded down with metal irrigation pipe. With further investigation by authorities, the three men were taken into custody and later charged with felony stealing.

It's estimated the theft of irrigation pipe is somewhere around $2,000.

Anyone who has additional information concerning the stolen quick hitches, which were taken from Brown Brothers Farms in the Peach Orchard area, sometime in the late evening and early morning hours of Oct. 4 and Oct. 5, should contact the Pemiscot County Sheriff's office at 333-4101. All calls will be confidential.
