Younggren - Pruett

LUBBOCK, Texas -- Meleesa Younggren and Tom Pruett have announced their engagement.

The future bride is the daughter of John Younggren of Fort Scott, Kan., and the late Linda Colvin Adams. She graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor's degree in agriculture and is currently the director of business eevelopment for Agri-Energy Solutions in Lubbock.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Gerald and Eletra Pobst of Sikeston, Mo. He attended Missouri State University, where he received his bachelor's degree in political science and history. He received his master's degree in accounting from Southwest Texas State University and is a technical instructor for CentriqFoss.

Plans are being finalized for a June 10 wedding at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Olathe, Kan., followed by a dinner and dance reception at Meadowview Gardens in Bates City, Mo.
