Goodwill, 214 N. Main St., held its grand opening ribbon cutting March 16. MERS/Goodwill is a nonprofit agency that provides opportunities for individuals who have barriers to employment to work and live more independently in the community. The store serves Scott and New Madrid counties with the proceeds from the store to help fund job placement service programs. Cutting the official grand opening ribbon is manager Beth Bowers.
