DIEHLSTADT -- Mary Elizabeth Claycomb, 72, died Sept. 2, 2006, at her home in Diehlstadt.

Born June 30, 1934, in Lilbourn, daughter of the late Bill and Eva Copeland Inman, she was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Benton.

On June 19, 1954, she married Emmett Claycomb; he survives of the home.

Other survivors include: three daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn and Warren Gage of Benton, Mary Ellen and Kenny Burns of Bloomfield and Sondra and Keith Skelton of Charleston; six grandchildren, Deidre Florek, Denetra Glastetter, Brandon Gage, Brian Hecker, Chance Huff and Clay Skelton; and 10 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Gracen, Emma, Austin, Garrett, Connor, Alexis, Abigail, Kaleb and Mallory.

In addition to her parents, one son, Emmett Henry Claycomb II, preceded her in death.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Dennis Lowe, pastor of Unity Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will follow in IOOF Cemetery at Charleston.
