Charles Gallamore

LOWNDES -- Charles Ray Gallamore, 64, died Sept. 17, 2006, at his home.

Born July 13, 1942, at Shook, son of the late Charles Franklin and Myrtle May Scritchfield Gallamore, he had been a heavy equipment operator and mechanic. He lived for several years in St. Louis before moving to Dexter in 1977, then to Lowndes in 1986.

Survivors include: two sons, Charles R. Gallamore Jr. of Festus and Christopher Lenn Gallamore of Greenville; two daughters, Sheila Juanita Hendricks of Barton, Ark., and Angel Shannon Ericks of Lowndes; five sisters, Joyce McGee of Greenville, Melba Barks of Sullivan, Verna Skaggs of Lowndes, Lela Douglas of Bloomfield and Deanna Metz of Dexter; and eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter. Frankie Radford of Marble Hill will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter.
