Eugene Jackson

CHICAGO -- Eugene Ray Jackson, 55, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died Sept. 14, 2006, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Sept. 22, 1950, in Sikeston, son of the late Emerson and Frankie Gould Jackson, he was a 1970 Sikeston High School graduate. In 1974, he moved to Chicago where he was a member of the Goshen Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Survivors include: his wife, Jittuan Jackson of Dolton, Ill.; one brother and sister-in-law, Emerson and Maria Jackson Jr. of Sikeston; and one sister and brother-in-law, Delconia and Reo Johnson of Sikeston.

Visitation is from noon until time of services at 1 p.m. Thursday at West End Baptist Church. The Rev. Leroy Coleman of Chicago and the Rev. Fred Montgomery will officiate.

Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.

Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
