BERTRAND -- Willie Dale McMillen, 53, died at 4:45 a.m. April 21, 2006, at his daughter's home in Bertrand. Born June 8, 1952, at Granite City, Ill., son of the late Willie Gray and Mahala Christine Hill McMillen, he had lived most of his life in Mississippi County where he worked as a truck driver, in plumbing, and for T & S Farms near Charleston until his retirement in 2003. BERTRAND -- Willie Dale McMillen, 53, died at 4:45 a.m. April 21, 2006, at his daughter's home in Bertrand.

Born June 8, 1952, at Granite City, Ill., son of the late Willie Gray and Mahala Christine Hill McMillen, he had lived most of his life in Mississippi County where he worked as a truck driver, in plumbing, and for T & S Farms near Charleston until his retirement in 2003. He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Charleston.

Survivors include: two sons, Matthew McMillen and Taylor McMillen of Bertrand; two daughters, Katina McMillen of Bullhead, Ariz., and Amanda McMillen of Bertrand; two brothers, Roy Thomas McMillen of Sikeston and Ronnie Ray McMillen of Bertrand; six sisters, Mary Ann Pazdera, Nola Faye Passley, Charlene Sue Grisso, Sallie Marie Garrett and Wilma Irene McMillen of Charleston and Barbara Jean Wilson of East Prairie; and one granddaughter, Madison Faye Hall of Bertrand.

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. William Marshall, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church of Sikeston, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.

Pallbearers will be: Stanley Powers, Larry Estes, Scott Pazdera, Craig Sutton, Dustin McMillen and Matthew McMillen.

Honorary pallbearers will be Victor Pazdera and Jackie McMillen.
