SIKESTON - Lillian Lee White, 94, died July 7, 2008, at the Clearview Nursing Center in Sikeston.

Born March 20, 1914, in Portageville, to the late Claude and Eula Smith Spence, she was a homemaker and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Sikeston.

On March 13, 1929, in Ridgley, Tenn., she married Flaudie White, who preceded her in death on April 14, 1983.

Also preceding her in death were an infant son; and another son, James Lee White.

Survivors include: five sons, Samuel White of Sikeston, Bill White of Union, Jim White of Herrin, Ill., Daniel White of Wappapello and Kenneth White of Advance; four daughters, Christine Smith, Jeannie White and Judy White Waters of Sikeston and Sheila Gee of Gilbertsville, Ky.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Services were held today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Mike Cartwright of the Canalou Assembly of God officiated.

Burial followed in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Logan White, Billy White, Bill White, Jim White, Steve Joyce and Bob Gee.
