Mae Johnson
PARMA -- Mae Lee Johnson, 74, died July 20, 2008, at her sister's home in Belvidere, Ill.
Born March 27, 1934, in Turrell, Ark., daughter of the late Bill and Rebecca Hamilton, she was a homemaker and a member of the Bread of Life Church in Parma.
On March 20, 1951, at Earle, Ark., she married Henry Johnson who preceded her in death on July 4, 1999.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, George Gordon and Melvin Johnson; two daughters, Christine Johnson and Teresa Johnson; and seven brothers, Freddie Patton, Robert Patton, Parker Patton, Willie Patton, R.B. Patton, James Patton and Sonny Patton.
Survivors include: six sons, Willie Patton, Robert Johnson, Johnny Johnson and John Henry Johnson of Elgin, Ill., and Charles Johnson and Leon Johnson of Parma; one sister, Ola Mae Morris of Belvidere; and 27 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until time of services at noon Saturday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie. The Rev. Carl Williams will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Simmons Park Cemetery in Catron.
