CHARLESTON - Don Reginald Reynolds, 67, died at 2:45 p.m. July 21, 2008, in Memphis, Tenn. Born April 10, 1941, in New Madrid County in the Barnes Ridge community, to the late Robert Reginald and Lorene Moore Reynolds McMinn, he lived most of his life in Mississippi County. After serving four years in the U.S. Air Force, he attended Arkansas State University. He was a retired truck driver having been employed by Schott Trucking in Advance over 10 years...

CHARLESTON - Don Reginald Reynolds, 67, died at 2:45 p.m. July 21, 2008, in Memphis, Tenn.

Born April 10, 1941, in New Madrid County in the Barnes Ridge community, to the late Robert Reginald and Lorene Moore Reynolds McMinn, he lived most of his life in Mississippi County. After serving four years in the U.S. Air Force, he attended Arkansas State University. He was a retired truck driver having been employed by Schott Trucking in Advance over 10 years.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, James Anthony and Hadden Reynolds of Fayetteville, Ark.; one daughter, Davy Lee Spotts of Memphis; one brother and sister-in-law, Reid and Cindy McMinn of East Prairie; one sister, Diane Harwell Reynolds of Memphis; and two grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, J.C. McMinn.

Visitation is at 6 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday with Steve Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Jerry Bisher, Charlie Allen, Ron Watts, Bill Watts, Kevin Harwell and Ronald Carter.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Sam Oliver and Johney Shoffner.
