OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma RedHawks fell to the Las Vegas 51s 4-3 Thursday night at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark. The 51s tallied all four runs over the first two innings against RedHawks starter Derek Lee.

Las Vegas left the bases loaded in the first. The 51s would tack on two more in the second with three singles. All four runs were earned and charged to Derek Lee in his first Triple-A start since September 3, 2007. Oklahoma put its first run on the board in the fifth inning. Travis Metcalf led off the inning with a double and scored on a single by Drew Meyer. The RedHawks knocked two seventh inning triples with an RBI single by Meyer sandwiched in between to cut the deficit to 4-3. For the second straight night, Oklahoma put the tying run on base in the home half of the ninth but could not bring the run across.

Lee pitched (0-1) four innings in the loss, while Eric Stults (6-6) threw six and a third in a quality start. Former RedHawks Tanyon Sturtze picked up his second save for Las Vegas. Meyer paced Oklahoma with his second straight three hit game. Blake DeWitt had three hits for the 51s and drove in a run.
