Dennis Riddle

BERNIE -- Dennis Floyd Riddle, 62, died Aug. 7, 2008, at his home near Bernie.

Born March 14, 1946, at Dudley, to the late Alvis Russell and Reva Lucille Bollinger Riddle, he had lived and farmed in rural Bernie all his life and had worked for 28 years at the Brown Shoe Co. in Bernie. He was the yard manager at Riddle Lumber Co. in Dexter and attended the Bethany General Baptist Church near Campbell.

Survivors include: one son, Dennis Floyd Riddle Jr. of Parma; one daughter, Cindy Green of Campbell; three brothers, R.J. Riddle and Terry Riddle of Bloomfield and Darryl Riddle of Jackson; two grandchildren; and his fiancee, Sharon Edgin of Bernie.

Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. Visitation will continue from 2 p.m. until time of services at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Bethany General Baptist Church Activity Center near Campbell. The Rev. Bryan Johnson of Campbell will officiate.

Burial will be in the Bethany Cemetery near Campbell.
