The following is Sikeston's Vision for Tomorrow statement:

The city utilizes the talents and contributions of all its citizens and embraces ethnic and religious diversity. Change is cultivated as a sign of growth, and city pride is shown in the beauty and improvements to our city streets, buildings and landscape."
