Gordon Addis

PADUCAH, Ky. -- Gordon D. Addis, 55, died at 3:33 p.m. Aug. 22, 2008, at the Medco Center of Paducah, following an extended illness.

Born June 12, 1953, in Portsmouth, Va., to Jessie Bright Addis of Paducah and the late John T. Addis, he was a member of the Victory Assembly of God Church in Paducah.

In addition to his mother, survivors include: one son, Michael Addis of Benton, Ky.; a brother and sister-in-law, Timothy and Becky Addis of Benton, Ky.; a sister and brother-in-law, Glenda and Tom Logsdon of Paducah; and two grandchildren and one nephew.

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, Mo., where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Jim Calvin of First Assembly of God Church in Sikeston will officiate.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
