Donnie Atteberry

HAYTI -- Donnie Farrell Atteberry, 59, died Oct. 1, 2008, at his home.

Born Feb. 15, 1947, at Portageville, he was the son of the late Elmer Lewis and Vonie Kirby Atteberry.

Survivors include: two brothers, Elmer Lewis Atteberry Jr. of Show Low, Ariz., and David Atteberry of Blytheville, Ark.; and six sisters, Alice Carnell and Janet Chidester of Hayti, Joyce Leonard of Portageville, Judy Schmidt and Sherry Whittemore of Dexter and Barbara Chidester of Benton.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Atteberry.

Visitation is scheduled at 6 p.m. today at the DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday with Dottie Townsend officiating.

Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
