SIKESTON -- Raymond Charles Leible Sr., 93, died at 6:10 p.m. Oct. 4, 2008, at his home. Born Jan. 20, 1915, in Kelso, to the late William Theodore and Emma Bertha Goetz Leible, he was a retired J I Case farm implement dealer. SIKESTON -- Raymond Charles Leible Sr., 93, died at 6:10 p.m. Oct. 4, 2008, at his home.

Born Jan. 20, 1915, in Kelso, to the late William Theodore and Emma Bertha Goetz Leible, he was a retired J I Case farm implement dealer. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and a charter member of Council 3151 of the Knights of Columbus.

On Nov. 18, 1939, at Cape Girardeau, he married Beulah Dempster, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: three sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Terri Leible and John and Melissa Leible of Sikeston and Robert and Ann Leible of St. Louis; two daughters and one son-in-law, Patricia and Bill Green of Sikeston and Mary Critchlow of St. Louis; nine grandchildren, Steve Green, Jay Leible and Marc Leible of Sikeston, Molly Liberto, Casey Critchlow, Blaire Garwitz, Lindsay Leible, Ben Leible and Joey Leible of St. Louis; three great-granddaughters, Amanda Green of Cape Girardeau, Heather Green-Hoyer and Hillary Green of Sikeston; two great-great-granddaughters, Allison and Makinzy Green of Cape Girardeau; and two sisters, Virginia Hovis of Cape Girardeau and Helen Cox of Kelso.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred Leible and Albert Leible; three sisters, Cornetta Seyer, Almerette Gosche and Dorothy St. Clair; and one great-grandson, Matthew Green.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass will be concelebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Monsignor Richard Rolwing and the Rev. Scott Sunnenberg at St. Francis Catholic Church.

Graveside services will follow at Sikeston Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons: Jay Leible, Marc Leible and Ben Leible; and nephews, Rodney Cox, Randy Cox and Bill Gosche.
