Beverly French

BERTRAND -- Beverly Hess French, 69, died at 11 p.m. Oct. 21, 2008, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Feb. 18, 1939, in Caddo Gap, Ark., to the late Bruce R. and Pauline McClean Hess, she had lived since 1939 in Mississippi County where she was a member of the United Methodist Church in Charleston. She had served 25 years as a Pink Lady at Missouri Delta Medical Center, and was a former member of the Charleston Women's Bowling Association, Charleston Bridge Club and the Bridges Extension Club.

On April 4, 1956, she married Andrew John French Jr. who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Bradley Warren of Charleston; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Andrew John and Kathy French III of rural Bertrand and James Allen French of Charleston; and four grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Joseph William French, and one sister, Mary Hess Baker.

Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. today at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church in Charleston. The Rev. Dan Faust, pastor, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Armer Cemetery near Bertrand.

Pallbearers will be: Brian Bard, Tommy Woods Jr., Cole Reichert, Jason French, Hunter Warren, Bryan Wilkerson, Mike Gallagher, John Gallagher, David Barnett and and Bud Bone.
