EAST PRAIRIE - Spooks and goblins abound the home of Dr. and Mrs. Randall J. Shurtz of East Prairie. NEW MADRID - New Madrid County Central's volleyball team picked up its 15th win of the season, defeating Sikeston in two sets to end out the regular season on Thursday night. "We were really pleased with the outcome," said NMCC head coach Dianne Fowler. "We've got a rivalry going, it always feels good to beat them. It wasn't the best we've played all year, but I felt like we played a good game."
