ORAN -- Ethel Lee "Ann" Evans, 67, died at 3:20 p.m. Nov. 5, 2008, at her home.
Born Jan. 11, 1941, in Fayette County, Ala., to the late Bersie Lee and Clara May Tucker Tidwell, she was a homemaker and a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Sikeston.
On Aug. 31, 1974, in Matthews, she married Larry Evans, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and James Ruedrich of Sikeston; one stepson, Tommy Evans of San Diego; two stepdaughters, Kim Evans of Columbia and Laurie Evans of Moberly; two brothers, Roy Tidwell of Oran and Gene Tidwell of Canalou; six sisters, Hassie Sweet and Donna Tidwell of Bertrand, Bonnie Ditto of Oran, Marty Holt of Blodgett, Faye Krauss of East Prairie and Charmain Vanryswik of Albert Lee, Minn.; four grandchildren, James and Brittany Ruedrich and Justin and Jessica Ruedrich of Sikeston; and one great-grandchild, Emaleigh Ruedrich of Sikeston.
Preceding her in death were: one brother, James "Cub" Tidwell; and one sister, Mary Vandiver Crowe.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. tonight at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Mike Johnson, pastor of East Prairie Full Gospel Pentecostal Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
Pallbearers will be: Richard Ditto Jr., Gene Tidwell Jr., Paul Wayne Krauss, Christopher Kreitzburg, Jeremy Grogan and Eric Tidwell.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Ronnie Davidson, Trey Davidson, Billie Harris, Ernest Hooper, Robert Kersey, Johnny Patrick and Jimmy Fowler Jr.
