SIKESTON -- Dale Duncan, 64, died Nov. 18, 2008, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born March 2, 1944, in Vanduser, to the late Houston Lee Duncan and Ruby Burns McCoy, he graduated in 1962 from Sikeston High School and was a member of Tanner Street Church of God. He worked for Noranda Aluminum for 34 years and also worked at Westridge Place of Sikeston. He was a member of United Steelworkers of America Local Union 7686. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of a the Swamplanders Muzzle Loaders Club.

On April 24, 1965, in Sikeston, he married Sharon L. Edwards, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth W. and Stacie Duncan of Jackson, Tenn.; one daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Denny Alcorn of Morley; one brother, Edward D. McCoy of Cape Coral, Fla.; three sisters, Kathryn M. Peery of North Kansas City, Carol Lee Isnor of Morehouse and Ruth Ellen Zercher of Cape Coral; and three grandchildren, Miranda E. Duncan and Ethan Duncan of Jackson and Kinley D. Alcorn of Morley.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Victor D. McCoy.

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday with the Revs. Ed Pangburn and Mary McCord officiating.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
