MORLEY -- Blanche Traw, 91, died at 11:25 p.m. Dec. 7, 2008, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born Aug. 18, 1917, in Pocohontas, Ark., to the late Martin and Amanda Nearns Harris, she was a retired cook for Chaffee General Hospital and Morley Cafe. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Morley.

On May 10, 1934, she married Orlando Traw who preceded her in death on April 1, 1986.

Two brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: two sons, Wade Traw of Barlow, Okla., and Dean Traw of Edwardsville Ill.; one daughter, Sally Kennedy or Morley; one sister, Katy Pryon of Corvallis, Ore.; and five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday. Bill Bradley will officiate.

Burial will follow in the New Morley Cemetery.
