GIDEON -- Ida Josephine Wood, 86, died Dec. 16, 2008, at her home.

Born Oct. 24, 1922, at Willow Springs, to the late Ivan Joseph and Lilly Jane Rader Reno, she was affiliated with the First Baptist Church in Gideon.

On May 31, 1941, she married Wallace William Wood who preceded her in death on Nov. 14, 1992.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Doris Denny; two sisters, Edith Bradley and Edna Mae Young; and four brothers, Ivan Reno, Earskin Reno, Raymond Reno and Rudy Reno.

Survivors include: three sons and daughters-in-law, Dwain and Teresa Wood of Gideon, Donald and Alene Wood of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Darell and Myra Wood of Risco; four brothers, Markie Reno of Caruthersville, George Reno and Richard Reno of Poplar Bluff and Freddie Reno of St. Charles; and eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled for 6 p.m. today at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Gene Lancaster officiating.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
