Kern signs with Fontbonne

School is 'good fit' for Lady Hawk first baseman

BENTON -- Casey Kern, senior first baseman of the Kelly Lady Hawks, has signed a letter of intent to play collegiate level softball for Fontbonne University. Kern, a four-year varsity starter for Rhonda Ratledge's Lady Hawk program, will make the move from Benton to St. Louis this coming fall, where she will begin playing for Bill Rosner and the Fontbonne Griffins.
