SIKESTON -- After carefully considering arguments for and against implementing a camera system for ticketing red light violators, a mock City Council voted against the system 2-4.

Sponsored by the Sikeston Optimist Club, Sikeston R-6 Schools and the city of Sikeston, the mock City Council meeting was held Friday as part of the annual Ron Creed Memorial Youth in Government Day.
