Getting ready to relay

Teresa Bye, right, chairman of the Scott County American Cancer Society's Relay For Life, and Julie Aycock, regional director of development for ACS, put up a banner for the June 13-14 Relay for Life. The Relay, which will begin with the Survivors' Lap at 11 a.m. June 13 at the Sikeston First Assembly of God Church Family Recreation Complex, will continue until 5 a.m. June 14. The public is invited to join the 17 teams which will be raising money to fight cancer at the Relay. There will be food, games, entertainment and lots of fun, Bye said.
