DPS arrests two on drug charges

SIKESTON -- Two suspects are awaiting their arraignment for charges of trafficking narcotics and recovering cocaine and marijuana.

Around 3 a.m. Wednesday, the Sikeston Department of Public Safety received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of Kendall Street, according to a news release from Sgt. Jim McMillen, public information officer. Officers responded and found the vehicle parked near 517 Kendall.
