BLODGETT -- Construction has started on the first phase of the Public Water Supply District No. 4 of Scott County.
"We started laying lines last week on the distribution system," project manager David Chittenden Jr. of Waters Engineering said.
"I think it's long overdue. We've been working on this for over four years and it's finally come to fruition -- we actually got started in 2005," said Phil Lyon, treasurer for the water district. "This is the part that is going to make it all worthwhile. It is truly needed: we have so many people with poor water out in the county."
