Legion aids kids of soldiers killed during active duty

SIKESTON -- It can't replace what they've lost, but it can give them a bit of help for their future.

The American Legion Legacy Scholarship Fund was established by the Legion to "bridge the gap" between the federal money for college education provided by law to children of active duty military killed at war and the rising costs of higher education.
