Sikeston fights way out of loser's bracket

SIKESTON -- The Sikeston Area Youth Baseball 14-year-old All-Stars had their backs to the wall in the Missouri State Championship Sunday, as a loss would end their season. But the Sikeston squad dug out two wins against two tough Mineral Area teams to advance to the championship game.
