Young patients often face emotional scars with hurts

SIKESTON -- When a child suffers an injury, it's easy to see the physical damage but not so visible is the emotional damage sometimes left behind.
"A lot of times, even in pediatrics, they are looking at fixing the physical issues, and they don't think to start looking at the psychosis that can linger," said certified pediatric nurse Crystal Tripp.
