Nuisance violation penalties increased

MINER -- There is a new ordinance relating to junk vehicles, tall grass and weeds in Miner.

During their monthly meeting Monday, members of the Miner Board of Alderman amended ordinance 850. Violators are now subjected to fines between $1 and $500 and/or incarceration of up to 90 days per offense.
